A PikiP sound system at the Makeda in Marseille

The Makeda is an iconic contemporary music venue in the heart of Marseille (up to 270 people), with a very eclectic programming, from punk to raï, from electronic to chanson. Faced with the need to renew its sound reinforcement, the venue chose PikiP in 2026, for the acoustic quality, energy efficiency and aesthetics of the products, while keeping an eye on noise nuisance in the city center.

The installation also prepares for the future: eventually, solar panels could bring the venue toward full energy autonomy.
