On 10 March 2025, the City of Marseille officially launched the "Fabrique a Marseille" (Made in Marseille) label at a ceremony at the Palais du Pharo. This label aims to showcase local know-how and promote the city's craft and industrial production.
During this event, Pikip Solar Speakers was honoured with one of the three Innovation Prizes, alongside bAAM (artisanal energy bars) and Les Minettes en Goguette (adapted clothing). This distinction highlights our commitment to offering self-powered, solar-powered sound systems, reflecting our aim to provide sustainable, high-quality solutions to local players.
Marseille's mayor, Benoit Payan, highlighted the importance of Marseille's craftsmanship and local production, stating: "We have here craftspeople and entrepreneurs who shape the soul of our city."
At Pikip, we are proud of our local roots and our contribution to Marseille's influence. Our city, with its exceptional sunshine and dynamism, provides fertile ground for innovation and creativity.
We share this recognition with other winners such as Cristal Liminana (spirits), Fil Rouge (streetwear textiles), Atelier Lea Caie (functional sculptures), La Corvette (soap works from the Midi), Espigas (espadrilles) and Canal 16 Lab (upcycled bags), who were also recognised for their excellence.
This distinction reinforces our commitment to offering quality, environmentally friendly products, while contributing to the economic and cultural development of our region.
